Weekend closures on the A9 in April
Due to construction work, the A9 will be closed in one direction for two weekends in April between Holendrecht and Badhoevedorp. The additional travel time will be between 10 and 30 minutes. Diversions are in place for all traffic.
When the A9 will be closed
- From Friday, 3 April, 20:00 until Tuesday, 7 April, 05:00. Note: exit 6b-Aalsmeer and the connecting road from the A4 from Schiphol to the A9 towards Haarlem will also be closed.
- From Friday, 17 April, 15:00 until Monday, 20 April, 05:00. Note: the A9 towards Haarlem will be closed from interchange Holendrecht to exit 5a-Stadshart; the road will reopen at exit 5b-Stadshart. Trams will also be affected; tram lines 5 and 25 will be shortened to Amstelveen Stadshart, and a shuttle bus 75 will operate between Stadshart (formerly Stadstuinen stop) and Brink. Between Brink and Uithoorn Centrum, a shuttle tram 28 will run.
Weekend of 17 April: Beneluxbaan also closed
During the A9 closure on the weekend of 17 April, the Beneluxbaan, Keerpuntweg, and Ouverture will also be closed in both directions. Trams will not operate; tram lines 5 and 25 will be shortened to Amstelveen Stadshart, and a shuttle bus 75 will run between Stadshart (formerly Stadstuinen stop) and Brink. Between Brink and Uithoorn Centrum, a shuttle tram 28 will operate.
