Start of new construction for Kindcentrum Buinerveen
On Friday, March 20, the Stichting Openbaar Primair Onderwijs Borger-Odoorn (OPO B-O) and Avitec Bouw signed the construction contract for Kindcentrum Buinerveen.
The school building in Nieuw-Buinen, on the border with Buinerveen, is over 100 years old and will be rebuilt. To mark this occasion and add a festive touch, Willion Jansen (board member of OPO B-O) and Alderman Jansen unveiled the construction sign.
In recent weeks, a large part of School 75 (on the border of Buinerveen/Nieuw-Buinen) has been demolished. Only the front, distinctive section of the school will remain intact.
