Farewell to seven councillors at final meeting in old town hall
On Tuesday, March 31 at 19:30, the final council meeting of the municipal council in its current composition began. This was also the last meeting held in the town hall at Rheineplein 1. During the meeting, farewell was bid to the seven councillors who will not return to the new council.
Awards for councillors
Ernst Janssen (D66) and Bert Oude Lansink (Lokaal BHZ) received a Royal Decoration from Mayor Jan Pierik. They were awarded a Royal Decoration for serving twelve years as councillors. Additionally, Niels Busschers (GB’90), Judith Prakken (VVD), Bernhard Slotman (CDA) and Jan de Vries (GL-PvdA) received a Borns Bijtje for their contributions to the municipal council.
