Start of new construction in Oosterdalfsen
With the official launch today, the development of the new residential area Oosterdalfsen Noord has begun. At the Oosterdalfsersteeg, Alderman André Schuurman and contractor Van Lenthe, represented by director Harold van Lenthe, jointly performed the symbolic start of this large-scale area development.
Oosterdalfsen Noord will be a new neighbourhood with space for around 400 homes. In doing so, the municipality is responding to the growing demand for affordable and sustainable housing for diverse target groups. In the coming period, the area will be prepared for construction by Van Lenthe, and the first preparatory work will commence.
Alderman Schuurman emphasised the importance of this expansion for the municipality during the launch: “With Oosterdalfsen Noord, we are taking a major step towards building enough suitable homes for current and new residents, such as first-time buyers and seniors. This is an important milestone for Dalfsen.” Director Harold van Lenthe added that the collaboration with the municipality is running smoothly and that Van Lenthe is ready to get to work promptly on the preparatory phase and further development of the area.
