Increase in fraud targeting the elderly
The municipality of Dalfsen is concerned about an increase in scams, fake police officers, and other forms of fraud in the municipality. Older residents in particular are frequently becoming victims. That is why all residents aged 70 and over will receive a personal letter from Mayor Michael Sijbom this or next week with tips on how to recognize the signs and an invitation to attend an information session by the police.
Residents aged 70+ who have not yet received the letter can expect it this or next week.
