Corry van Rhee-Oud Ammerveld appointed as informateur

Ms. Corry van Rhee-Oud Ammerveld will take up the role of informateur in Dordrecht. Van Rhee-Oud Ammerveld has been asked to do so by the lead candidate of the largest party, GroenLinks-PvdA.

The informateur will discuss the election results with all parties in the new municipal council and explore the possibilities for a new coalition. This is known as the information round. The parties have agreed that the informateur will present an initial report on the possibilities for a stable municipal administration by no later than Wednesday, April 1. The council will debate this report the same evening.

Who is Van Rhee-Oud Ammerveld?

Born in Dordrecht, Van Rhee-Oud Ammerveld (1956) is no stranger to politics. From 2002 to 2009, she served as a municipal councillor in Tiel for the PvdA, acting as parliamentary leader for the final four years. From 2009 to 2017, she held the position of alderwoman for economic affairs. Additionally, Van Rhee-Oud Ammerveld has served as acting mayor on multiple occasions, including in West Maas en Waal, Beuningen, Rhenen, and most recently in Lingewaard.
