Construction News: Bouwhuys Location, Witte Dorp and Oranjetuin
As you may have noticed, a lot is happening in Dordrecht in terms of construction. Therefore, we are happy to share the latest updates in the construction news. This time, we have 3 updates from projects in Wielwijk and Nieuw-Krispijn.
1. Bouwhuys Location – Wielwijk
At the Bouwhuys Location, approximately 215 new homes will be built: social rental homes, family homes (for sale) and apartments for sale. Van Wijnen is the chosen developer and responsible for the further development of the plan, the sale and the construction. The cooperation agreement was signed this week. The neighborhood will be quiet, green and car-free, with a nice connection to the Tromptuinen and the Wielwijkpark. Construction will start in 2027.
2. Witte Dorp – Nieuw-Krispijn
In Witte Dorp, the last homes have been delivered by Woonbron. The project consists of 143 new homes, of which 129 are social rental homes and 14 are homes for sale. The new residents have already received their keys and will be moving to their new homes in the coming period. A beautiful new phase for the neighborhood!
3. Oranjetuin – Wielwijk
In Oranjetuin, all homes have also been delivered. The homes were even delivered within 8 months! This project consists of 14 single-family homes (for sale). The new residents have received their key and have started with furnishing and settling in. ABB Bouwgroep developed and built this green, small-scale residential area as the finishing touch to the redevelopment of the Piet Heynstraat.
