Final results of the municipal council elections
On Thursday 26 March, Ben Visser, Mayor and Chairman of the Central Electoral Committee, announced the final results of the municipal council elections for the municipality of Eemsdelta.
The turnout for the municipal council elections was 48.87%. A total of 17,805 votes were cast, of which 17,656 were valid, 55 invalid and 94 blank.

Farewell to the current council and installation of the new council
On Monday 30 March at 19:30, the current council of Eemsdelta will be bid farewell. This is the very first council since the reorganisation and therefore has served a longer period (2021-2026) than the usual four years in office.
