Help for young people during Money Week
Many young people are worried about money. That’s why there are various walk-in sessions during Money Week where young people can get answers to their money-related questions.
Money Week is a national campaign week, this year from March 23 to 27. In the Netherlands, as much as 81% of all young people sometimes experience money-related stress, and 64% sometimes struggle to make ends meet, according to research by State of Youth. Under the motto ‘what you learn young, you’ll do old’, we aim to help young people build a healthy financial future.
Walk-in sessions
Starting Tuesday, March 31, there will be walk-in sessions at various locations in the city where young people can get help with money-related questions. Topics include loans, tax returns, insurance, and debt.
No registration is required for these sessions—young people can simply walk in.
Opening at Inholland University of Applied Sciences
Money Week in Haarlem will be launched on Tuesday, March 24 by Alderman for Poverty and Debt Diana van Loenen and Gonneke Willemsen, Director of the Health, Sports, and Well-being Domain at Inholland Haarlem.
