Join The Real Hustle: Discuss choices and discover what you're good at
Spray painting graffiti, gaming in the PlayStation zone, chilling with music & beats, nail art and styling, inspiration talks, food and snacks, and in the meantime discovering what you're good at. Sounds awesome, right? Come to The Real Hustle: a pop-up event for young people where fun and future come together. Between activities, there's room for real conversations about dreams, temptations, quick money, and the choices young people make every day. Young people will go home with a goodie bag and have a chance to win a coaching program and other great prizes.
Where and when?
- April 10 in Nieuw-Vennep (Harmonieplein) from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- April 16 in Hoofddorp (Burgemeester van Stamplein) from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Honest stories and conversations
During the event, youth workers, youth police officers, managers of youth centers, and police will engage in conversations with young people about what concerns them. Young people can ask questions, share their stories, and discover what support or opportunities are available to them. Think of help with school, work, talent development, or personal challenges.
Becoming a better version of yourself
Rivelino Rigters – also known as Blackrockstar – and April van Pareen share their personal stories about experiences and consequences of wrong choices. With their own life stories, music, and experiences, they try to inspire young people and make them think. Their story is recognizable, honest, and judgment-free.
They openly discuss temptations and external pressures. In doing so, they show that every choice has consequences. At the same time, they convey an important message: you are never stuck in your past. You can always start over and work step by step toward a better version of yourself.
Chance to win a coaching program
Young people have a chance to win a coaching program at The Real Hustle, where they will receive one-on-one guidance from Rivelino Rigters, who is also a talent coach. Together, they will discover their talents, set goals, and work step by step toward their future. Whether it's about school, work, sports, or personal development. This way, young people not only receive inspiration but also concrete support to further develop their talents.
A day filled with graffiti, games, music, food, and real conversations about your future. You don't want to miss this. Will we see you on April 10 or 16 at The Real Hustle?
5 years of YouChoose!
The Real Hustle is part of the five-year anniversary of the YouChoose campaign. For five years, the campaign has helped young people reflect on their choices and shows that there are always alternatives: talent development, school, work, sports, and positive future plans.
