Ferries back in service
From 1 April, you can once again use the ferries between Rheeze – Oud-Bergentheim and at the Loozensche Linie. Pedestrians and cyclists can use the ferries to cross the Vecht at these locations.
The ferries are easy to use. With the press of a button, the ferry will cross to the other side. The ferries connect to beautiful cycling and walking routes in the area, which is why they are so popular. Before the start of this season, the ferries have therefore received a makeover. Alderman Alwin Mussche took a look at the ferry at the Loozensche Linie last Monday. He is enthusiastic about the new look of the ferries: “The ferries are in beautiful locations, right in the middle of stunning nature. After a thorough makeover, the ferries are ready for the new season!”
When can the ferries be used?
The ferries can be used daily between 06.00 and 22.00. The season runs until 1 November. If the water levels are too high, the ferries will temporarily be taken out of service. You can check whether the ferries are in service on our webpage hardenberg.nl/pontjes.
