Preliminary results of municipal council elections
In our municipality, GroenLinks/PvdA emerged as the largest party (24.8%). It was followed by VVD (18.9%) and DGH (17.4%), then De Kiezersclub (16.1%), CDA (12%) and D66 (10.8%).
Voter turnout was 64.15%, which is higher than in 2022 (59.42%).
In the Heumen municipal council, 17 seats are up for grabs. GroenLinks/PvdA is the winner of the municipal council elections. The party secured 4 seats. VVD gains 1 seat, bringing its total to 3. DGH drops from 6 to 3 seats, De Kiezersclub gains 2 seats, bringing its total to 3. Both CDA and D66 remain unchanged with 2 seats each.
