Come and see the new depot of the Regional Archive!
On Saturday, 11 April, the new depot building of the Regional Archive Langstraat Heusden Altena will open at Industrieweg 25 in Heesbeen. You are very welcome to come and take a look!
From April 2026 onwards, this building will house the archives and collections from the municipalities of Altena, Heusden and Waalwijk. These are valuable items that together tell the story of our region.
During the opening, you can explore the interior of the building. You can also admire the mural that was specially designed for this depot. An employee of the Regional Archive will give guided tours and explain how the archives and collections are preserved.
The guided tours will take place from 13:30 to 16:00.
