HVC will again collect your pruning waste for free this spring. To do so, make an appointment.
When will HVC come by?
The pruning waste will be collected on Thursdays:
- April 9, 2026;
- April 30, 2026;
- May 21, 2026;
- June 18, 2026.
Make an appointment
You can schedule an appointment via the HVC app (‘I want to have bulky waste collected’) or the HVC website. Fifty spots are available per date. On the agreed day, place the pruning waste at the location where the waste bins are normally placed on collection day.
Conditions for offering pruning waste
- Pruning waste must be bundled.
- The pruning waste may be no longer than 1.5 meters.
- The pruning waste must be liftable by one person (maximum 25 kilograms).
- Tree stumps and thick tree trunks will not be collected.
Disposing of pruning waste yourself
You can dispose of (bulky) garden waste for free year-round at the waste collection point.
