Evening for associations and foundations looking to save energy
Many foundations and associations that manage their own buildings are facing rising costs for gas, water and electricity. And for an increasing number of organisations, this is causing problems. That’s why, together with Buurkracht, we are organising a meeting on Thursday evening, 26 March in Wieringerwerf to support associations and foundations in this area, exploring solutions together. The focus will include subsidies, awareness, collaboration and technical insights.
Subsidies
The issues faced by foundations and associations are often due to the condition of their buildings and installations. But knowledge about available subsidies can also be lacking. Additionally, boards have limited time to engage members in awareness and behavioural change, and major investments are often not budgeted for.
Aim of the meeting
The goal of the open evening is to discuss together how rising energy costs can be managed and kept under control. It will also explore the technical, social and financial options available to improve building management. The meeting is a collaboration between Buurkracht, the municipality of Hollands Kroon and its energy coaches. Buurkracht will also offer to conduct a trial at ten locations with main users to identify energy leaks, with practical solutions being considered immediately.
Who is it for?
This meeting is intended for associations and foundations that independently manage their own buildings. This includes organisations that own their buildings, as well as those with a right of superficies or those fully responsible for management and maintenance under an agreement. We invite people who want to actively contribute to technical, financial and social solutions.
Practical information
The information evening takes place on Thursday, 26 March 2026, from 19:30 to 21:30. The event will start at the municipality’s pop-up location at Terpstraat 27b in Wieringerwerf. Registration is not mandatory but is appreciated as it helps estimate the number of attendees. You can register by sending an email to
