Brushing Weeds in Built-up Areas
Starting in April, we will once again begin removing weeds from our sidewalks in built-up areas. This keeps them safe and tidy. Senzer and the company Bouw will use brush trucks to drive through the neighborhoods, staying approximately 30 centimeters away from facades, lampposts, mailboxes, and other objects to prevent damage to others' property.
Sweeping Up Weeds
The loose weeds are swept as much as possible into the gutter of the road. Blink then sweeps them up as quickly as possible and removes them. There may be one or two days between brushing and sweeping, as we aim to use Blink's sweeper efficiently. So don’t worry if you still see loose weeds in the gutters—they will definitely be swept up! We will continue brushing until the end of October, focusing on areas where it is necessary. The frequency of brushing depends on how much weed growth there is. Usually, we do this once to a maximum of three times a year.
Safe and Environmentally Friendly
Brushing weeds is a safe way to remove weeds from between paving stones. It is also good for the environment, as no chemical pesticides are required.
