Invitation: Workshop on Creating a Nature-Friendly Garden
Would you like a garden teeming with life, offering cool relief in the summer and a peaceful retreat? Then join the workshop “Creating a Nature-Friendly Garden” on Tuesday, March 31. The workshop will take place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Laarbeek town hall and is organized by the garden coaches of IVN in collaboration with the municipality of Laarbeek. It’s highly interesting and inspiring for anyone looking to create a nature-friendly garden. Even if you want to gradually make your existing garden greener and more nature-friendly, you are very welcome. With the campaign “Every Garden a Nature Garden,” we are happy to guide you along the way.
A nature-friendly garden offers plenty to enjoy. Cheerful chirping birds, buzzing bees, and butterflies fluttering from flower to flower: a nature-friendly garden benefits biodiversity, contributes to better health, improves air quality, provides cooling on hot days, and reduces the risk of waterlogging during heavy rainfall. Did you know that sometimes just a few simple adjustments are all it takes to transform your garden into a green oasis full of life?
Registration
Does this sound appealing and would you like more information? Then register for this workshop using the contact form at www.laarbeek.nl/contact. There are approximately 20 spots available. After registering, you will receive a message from us confirming your participation.
Programme
The evening begins with a clear presentation on how to design your garden in a nature-friendly way. After the break, our garden coaches will work with you in small groups, providing personalized and practical advice tailored to your own garden. Please bring a site plan and a few photos of your garden so we can give you the most targeted advice possible. For this advice, we ask for a contribution of €10, payable on the evening itself (also possible via QR code). The proceeds go to IVN. The event takes place on Tuesday, March 31, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the council chamber of the town hall.
