Museum Steam Tram Stations to Serve as Temporary Polling Locations
We have four special polling locations during these municipal council elections: the stations of the Museum Steam Tram. You can vote on March 18 at certain times in the polling station of Wognum, Twisk, Opperdoes, and Medemblik.
We already have a generous number of polling locations, a total of 29 distributed across 17 villages. Mayor Pijl is happy to add a few more options: “I am quite charmed by special polling locations to give voting even more attention. The Museum Steam Tram is indeed a true Medemblik attraction.”
The mayor himself will vote at the station in Wognum. He will do this together with a couple from Wognum who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on election day!
