Lange Noordstraat closed off
From Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27, the Lange Noordstraat will be temporarily closed off due to KPN’s installation of fibre-optic cables. The work will take place daily between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
During these working hours, the street will not be accessible to motorised traffic. However, (moped) cyclists will still be permitted to pass through. Outside working hours, the Lange Noordstraat will remain open to all traffic as usual.
Throughout the duration of the work, parking will be prohibited along the entire street, from Hofplein to Bachtensteene.
Motorised traffic should follow the designated detour via: Noordpoortstraat – Klein Vlaanderen – Volderijlaagte – Stadhuisstraat.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and every effort will be made to ensure the work proceeds as smoothly as possible.
