Train-free period from 20 to 23 March
Swietelsky Rail Benelux is working on improving the Maaslijn over the coming years. This is the railway line between Nijmegen and Roermond. From Friday 20 March at 9:00 AM to Monday 23 March at 5:00 AM, they will be carrying out work on and around the track in Mook and Middelaar during a train-free period.
Transporting and unloading materials
During the train-free period, materials will be transported and unloaded at several locations along the track. This will happen between Mook Molenhoek station and the bridge over the Maas.
Lowering level crossings
Swietelsky will be lowering level crossings at the height of the Bovensteweg. The crossing at Bovensteweg will therefore be closed from Saturday 21 March at 7:00 AM to Sunday 22 March at 4:00 PM. All traffic will be diverted via the N271. You may experience some inconvenience from these works. Swietelsky will try to limit this as much as possible, for example by only starting machines when absolutely necessary.
