13 of 29 councillors debut in Nijkerk municipal council
Seven parties will form the new municipal council of Nijkerk starting April 1. Following the municipal council elections on March 18, 2026, the 29 council seats in the Nijkerk council chamber will be divided as follows: 6 seats for CDA, 5 seats for ChristenUnie-SGP, 5 seats for De Lokale Partij, 4 seats for Forum voor Democratie, 4 seats for VVD, 4 seats for PRO21 (D66, GroenLinks-PvdA), and 1 seat for Voor Ons.
On Thursday afternoon, March 26, Mayor Tinet de Jonge-Ruitenbeek, as chair of the central electoral committee, confirmed the final results of the municipal council elections held on March 18, 2026.
