Roadworks on F.A. Molijnlaan
From 16 February to 6 March, road resurfacing work will be carried out on the F.A. Molijnlaan between Stationslaan and the roundabout.
This section of the road has been damaged by the heavy construction traffic during the construction work in the station area.
The contractor will also take the opportunity to widen the inner curve of Stationslaan towards the roundabout and the inner curve of the roundabout (from Elspeterweg).
Temporary closure
Due to these works, the road section between Spoorlaan and the roundabout will be temporarily closed to all motorised traffic during this period. The F.A. Molijnlaan and Nijverheidsweg will also be inaccessible from Stationslaan.
The roundabout will remain open. The P+R car park and the apartment complex on F.A. Molijnlaan will remain accessible from the Spoorlaan side. The K+R facility will be inaccessible and will be relocated to the temporary stop of bus line 305 (junction F.A. Molijnlaan – Spoorlaan). The city centre will remain accessible via the other access roads. Cyclists and pedestrians can continue to use the existing cycle and footpaths during the works.
Public transport
