Then come to community center De Lichtenberg in Silvolde on Saturday, April 18 between 10:00 and 12:30 for the action ‘Are you completely tiled?!’ For every paving stone or garden tile you bring, you’ll receive a beautiful garden plant.
Fewer tiles in the garden and more greenery make gardens and neighborhoods more beautiful and, above all, cooler on hot days. Additionally, rainwater can better soak into the ground in a green garden. Did you know you can also plant edible plants in your front garden? It looks great, is beneficial for butterflies and bees, and is also delicious!

On Saturday, April 18, we’ll be at community center De Lichtenberg on Reeënstraat 20a in Silvolde. Bring your garden tiles and join the conversation. Coffee will be served! During the action, we’ll provide advice on making your home more sustainable and greening your garden. Did you know that spring is the ideal season to tackle your garden and plant new greenery? There will be a water table where we’ll explain the importance of a green neighborhood, and children can play with it. If you don’t have a garden but do have a balcony, show us a photo of it, and you’ll still receive a garden plant. We’ll give out two plants per household (while supplies last).
