Final results of the 2026 municipal council elections announced
The municipality of Raalte once again participated in centralised voting this year. On Wednesday, March 18, the polling stations counted the votes at the party level. On Thursday, March 19, the votes were centrally tallied at the candidate level. Today, the final results have been confirmed, and it has been announced which 25 councillors will take their seats on the Raalte municipal council for the next four years.
63.04% of eligible voters in the municipality of Raalte cast a ballot in the municipal council elections. A total of 19,890 votes were cast. In total, 31,550 people from the municipality of Raalte were eligible to vote in the municipal council elections. In the previous municipal council elections in 2022, 57.2% of eligible voters cast their ballots.
Based on preference votes, some candidates on certain lists were placed higher or dropped compared to the order listed on the ballot papers.
