Vacancy for SIGMA team members
Due to several changes within the existing SIGMA team, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates/volunteers for the position of SIGMA team member m/f.
A Snel Inzetbare Groep ter Medische Assistentie (SIGMA) is a group of volunteer emergency responders who can be deployed when regular (emergency) medical assistance is insufficient, for example in the event of a disaster or major accident.
The primary goal of a SIGMA team is to provide logistical and medical support to the Ambulance team on Schiermonnikoog. Since we must be self-sufficient on the island for at least the first hour, we may also be called out for a smaller number of casualties.
