Open house evening for residents: Project “Disconnecting rainwater from the Bocholtz village centre” on 22 April
In this project, rainwater from multiple streets and neighbourhoods will be diverted towards the previously installed sewer system.
Following the previous residents' evening on Thursday 21 November 2024, the Municipality of Simpelveld cordially invites you to the open house evening for the project ‘Disconnecting rainwater from the Bocholtz village centre’. In this project, rainwater from multiple streets and neighbourhoods will be diverted towards the previously installed sewer system. This will mainly be achieved by guiding the water that falls on pavements and streets through a newly constructed sewer pipe towards the previously installed ‘Blue Vein’ system.
The Municipality of Simpelveld has worked closely with engineering firm RA+ over the past period to finalise the design in detail. We are pleased to inform you that the design is now complete and that we have started the next phase. This involves finding the right contractor to implement our plans. After a pre-selection of several contractors, three remaining contractors are currently working on their plans in this final tender phase. The municipality will award the work to the best contractor after assessing the plans.
Residents' open house on 22 April
To inform residents as thoroughly as possible about the plans that have been drawn up, we cordially invite you to our open house evening. The Municipality of Simpelveld, together with RA+ Ingenieurs, will explain the plans for the various streets and neighbourhoods that will be addressed. During this open house evening, we will literally lay out the plans on the table, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
