What do you think about support for informal carers?
We would like to know how informal carers are doing. That is why, together with Steunpunt Mantelzorg Waadhoeke (Connexa), we are conducting a short survey. In it, we ask informal carers how they are doing and whether the help they (can) receive meets their needs.
Are you an informal carer? Complete the questionnaire!
Completing the questionnaire will take about ten minutes and can be done until 7 April. You can find the questionnaire here. As a thank you for completing it, 10 €25 gift vouchers will be raffled among participants.
Who else is an informal carer?
We hope as many informal carers as possible will complete the questionnaire. This is not just about people who are already known. It is also about informal carers who have not previously had contact with informal care services. Many people care for someone in their environment but do not call themselves informal carers. We would particularly like to hear their experiences.
Support and assistance via Terschelling Municipality
Terschelling Municipality offers informal care support. As an informal carer, you can receive help and guidance. This means you are not alone. The support can take various forms, such as advice and information, courses or workshops, practical care assistance, respite care (temporary replacement of the informal carer) or peer support. The aim is to make caring more sustainable and to create time for yourself.
Informal care supporter Albert Jan
