The Mayor and Aldermen of the municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel announce, pursuant to the Environment and Planning Act, that the Draft Heat Programme Tytsjerksteradiel 2026 is available for public inspection.
Content of the Heat Programme
In this Heat Programme, the municipality outlines its approach to insulating and making all buildings energy-neutral by 2040. This includes an explanation of which alternative to natural gas is preferred. It also explains the order in which areas will be prioritised for developing implementation plans to achieve energy-neutral zones.
Environmental Impact Assessment
Based on the Environmental Impact Assessment conducted, it has been determined that the heat programme will not result in significant adverse environmental effects within the meaning of the Environment and Planning Act and the Environmental Impact Assessment Directive. A full Environmental Impact Assessment is therefore not required for the implementation of the current heat programme. The Environmental Impact Assessment conducted has been included as an annex to the heat programme.
