New scheme from the Landscape Fund
A new subsidy scheme is now available within the municipal Landscape Fund: the Small Landscape Elements subsidy scheme.
This scheme enables landowners to enhance their immediate living environment by establishing or planting new landscape features.
Examples include mixed hedges or shrubberies, solitary trees or tree groups, small woodlands, standard fruit orchards, or plantings on embankments.
The Centre for Nature and Environmental Education (CNME) is available to assist you in creating a well-designed planting plan.
What are the conditions and reimbursements?
- You will receive 75% of the required planting material and other materials, such as tree stakes and binding twine, directly from the municipality.
- The minimum amount for your planting plan is €250.
- The municipality provides materials up to a maximum of €2,500 in kind.
If you implement new plantings under this scheme, you are required to maintain and preserve them for at least 10 years.
When and how can you apply?
You can submit your application online from 1 July 2026 to 31 October 2026. Until then, you can already work on designing a planting plan. The planting material and associated materials can be collected in the autumn at a nursery designated by the municipality. Further details will follow.
The application form and subsidy conditions will be published shortly on the municipal website.
Subsidy ceiling
The scheme is available as long as there is budget. Applications will be processed until the annual subsidy ceiling (€50,000 per year) is reached.
