Dutch Tile Removal Championship 2026 - Want to replace the tiles in your garden with greenery? The municipality of Vlaardingen is making it easier for residents with the Tile Taxi. This means you don’t have to dispose of your garden paving yourself. The Tile Taxi is part of our participation in the Dutch Tile Removal Championship. The municipality aims, together with residents, to make the city a little greener.
The Tile Taxi is a free collection service for garden paving. You can register your tiles for the following Mondays: April 13, May 4, June 1, July 6, August 3, September 7, and October 5. To do so, visit www.vlaardingen.nl/tegeltaxi and fill out the registration form. Include a photo of the tiles to be removed or already removed, as well as the email confirmation from www.NK-tegelwippen.nl that the tiles are registered for the Dutch Tile Removal Championship.
