Farewell to councillors
On Monday 30 March, a special council meeting was held to say farewell to four councillors.
Nel Hopman (NLV), Jan Stuivenga (Lijst Stuivenga), Cees Potiek (Lijst Fier) and Hedwig de Lang-Rodenhuis (Groen Wit) were farewelled. Each departing councillor received a personal thank-you from the council’s chairman, Michiel Schrier, along with a genuine Vlieland gift from the Vlielandse Zilverjutter.
Ms De Lang-Rodenhuis was also awarded a Royal Honour.
