Learn more about your fall risk on April 9!
The consequences of a fall can be significant for someone aged 65 or older. As the municipality of Waalre, we are working with partners on fall prevention. Fall prevention is about what you can do to avoid falling.
On April 9, we are organizing a testing and information session from 09:30 to 12:00 at the Huis van Waalre. You can have your fall risk assessed and receive information about the impact of healthy nutrition.
The fall risk test will tell you whether your fall risk is low, moderate, high, or very high. Based on the outcome, we will provide advice on a fall prevention course with one of our partner organizations. We would be happy to share more about this during the session.
The information session will be led by a dietitian from the municipality. The dietitian will discuss changing nutritional needs as you age and what you can do yourself to reduce your risk of falling.
