Invitation to Information Meeting on April 15
Have your say on the future of the northern edge of Waalre! The Brainport Eindhoven region, which includes the municipality of Waalre, is growing rapidly. This is what we call the "scale jump." This means more residents want to live, work, and recreate here. That’s why we need to consider how we will manage the available space in our municipality. In particular, we will be building and renewing locations along the northern edge of the municipality of Waalre.
Space for the scale jump in the municipality of Waalre has largely already been included in the Waalre 2040 Environmental Vision. The Environmental Vision is our guide for spatial questions and choices. It explains what the municipality will need in the long term for housing, work, nature, traffic, and the safety and health of the living environment.
In some areas, the Environmental Vision is still quite general. We want to be clearer about what we consider important. This will help us maintain control over (future) developments. That way, we can continue to be a qualitative, green, and vibrant residential municipality. Various initiatives and plans have already been launched.
