Tree Felling and Replacement - Geldermalsen
We are working on a new layout for the roundabout at the N327 and Laageinde in Geldermalsen. To start the work, we will remove several trees on Thursday, March 20.
In the autumn of 2026 or the spring of 2027, we will replant new trees.
Which trees are we removing?
- Laan van Leeuwenstein: 3 ornamental cherries (near the large parking lot opposite the Rehoboth school)
- Laageinde/Oudenhof: 1 walnut and 2 summer oaks (on the south side of the roundabout)
- Industrieweg: 3 horse chestnuts (near house number 6a)

Disruption
During the removal of the trees, there may be disruption. Sometimes a short closure is necessary due to machinery. We try to limit this as much as possible together with the contractor.
