Exhibition by Caroline Verkoelen
From April 1, 2026, through the end of June 2026, Caroline Verkoelen will be exhibiting her paintings at the town hall in Beneden-Leeuwen.
Caroline Verkoelen enjoys painting images that inspire and move her. The creation of a new painting brings her great satisfaction and joy. She enjoys experimenting with materials, subjects, and levels of detail, resulting in a diverse body of work. Currently, she primarily works with acrylic, oil, and watercolor paints.
Caroline has been drawing and painting her entire life and has regularly taken creative courses and workshops. Since 2014, she has been fully dedicated to painting, with her passion for art completely replacing her previous work:
“Finally, time to paint!” A new creative “career,” a new path.
In recent years, Caroline has often been inspired by elegant women’s legs, high-heeled shoes, and flamenco dancers. Additionally, much of her recent work consists of portraits (commissioned paintings based on photographs). She frequently takes her self-painted art bus, “Arty,” to inspiring locations where she can paint in peace.
Would you like a preview or a “taste” of Caroline’s work? Visit her website ArtCaroline.nl, or follow her on Instagram. You can also contact her via email at ArtCarolineCreations@gmail.com.
