Work on Vaartbrug Bridge
On Tuesday, 7 April, from 07:30 to 16:00, we will replace the brake motor of the Vaartbrug bridge in Krommenie. This has been causing frequent malfunctions in recent months. Many boats pass through this bridge, so we are replacing the brake motor now rather than waiting until after the boating season.
Only recreational boats no higher than 1.10 metres will be able to pass under the bridge on 7 April. Cyclists, pedestrians and motorists can still use the bridge as usual. Information boards will be placed on both sides of the Vaartbrug and at the start of the Nauernasche Vaart.
