New municipal council installed
On 18 March 2026, the municipal council elections took place. Last Tuesday evening, we said goodbye to the outgoing municipal council, and on Wednesday evening, the new council was installed.
Mayor Moolenburgh referred in his speech to the challenges facing the new municipal council: “Zandvoort faces major tasks, and these require thorough debate and decision-making. You have been entrusted with the special task of governing our beautiful municipality and ensuring that political decisions are made in a sound and balanced manner on behalf of the residents. The voters have given you a special responsibility.”
