Are you between 8 and 17 years old, live in Zoetermeer, and enjoy writing? Then this poetry competition might be just the thing for you.
The municipality of Zoetermeer is organising a poetry competition for children and young people on the theme of Remembrance. What does remembrance mean to you? Perhaps you think of freedom, stories from the past, or people we must not forget. Put your thoughts into a poem.
The winner will receive a special stage. The author of the winning poem will get to recite it during the 4 May Remembrance Ceremony and at the opening of the Liberation Festival on 5 May in Zoetermeer.
How to participate
Participating is easy:

- You can decide the length and form of your poem
- Submit your poem by 20 April at the latest to kabinet@zoetermeer.nl
- Include your name, age, school, and contact details in the email
