Subsidy for apartment insulation
Good news for apartment owners: the municipality has introduced a new subsidy to help VvE's improve insulation. With proper insulation, you’ll live more comfortably, save on energy bills, and reduce CO₂ emissions. The scheme makes it easier and more affordable to upgrade your apartment.
Who is eligible for the subsidy?
The subsidy is available for Verenigingen van Eigenaren (VvE's).
- You can apply as a VvE, or as an individual owner.
- Do you live in a mixed VvE, with both owners and tenants (for example, through a housing corporation)? Then the VvE as a whole cannot receive the subsidy. However, as an owner, you can still apply individually.
- Landlords within a VvE are also eligible, provided they own a maximum of 5 apartments.
How much subsidy can you receive?
- You can receive up to €1,460 per apartment. This amount covers insulation materials, labor costs, and VAT. Examples include HR++ glass and insulation for walls, roofs, or floors.
- Your apartment (or the VvE building) must have a WOZ value below €477,000 (as of 2022). It must also have an energy label D or lower, or an equivalent energy performance.
- The insulation measures must comply with national regulations (such as minimum insulation values and surface area).
How do you apply for the subsidy?
You apply for the subsidy after the work has been completed. This applies to measures carried out from January 1, 2025 onwards. Applications can be submitted easily via: Subsidie - Isolatie voor VvE's.
