Floor Vreijsen has been appointed Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau. He received this Royal Decoration earlier tonight, during the farewell ceremony of the municipal council, from Mayor Joyce Vermue. This distinction is an appreciation for Floor’s many years of service as a council member for our municipality.
Over 24 years as a council member
Floor has been active in our municipal council since 1999. He served for a total of 24 years, spread across three terms.
During those years, he held various positions, including:
- Leader of the Zundert VVD faction;
- Chairman of De Ronde;
- Chairman of the Administrative Affairs and Resources Committee;
- In his final council term, he was a member of the Audit Committee.
