We are facing unprecedented challenges in our time, both in our own country and globally. With everything coming our way, our free, safe, and prosperous way of life is under pressure. This time calls for a political party that knows the direction in which the Netherlands should go. How we keep our country strong and safe in the future. And has the plans to achieve that. The VVD has that vision and those plans. We have worked hard on that in recent times.
Due to the cabinets fall, the Netherlands will once again have to go to the polls. The VVD is ready for that. Because even after this irresponsible cabinets fall, the VVD continues to tackle crucial issues for the Netherlands. With Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius at the forefront, our party has begun a new chapter. Under her leadership, the House of Representatives faction, together with the party, has worked on a vision and agenda for a new time. There are solid plans for a growing economy, for rewarding work, for our safety, and for a Netherlands in which everyone participates in our free values.
With all the plans in place, the VVD is entering a new era. The new chapter is far from finished. That is why the national board, together with the chairs of the partys regions, proudly nominates Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius as the candidate list leader of the VVD for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
With Dilan, we are entering the elections with a leader who knows what is needed now to make the Netherlands freer, safer, and more prosperous. The national board looks forward to an enthusiastic campaign focused on content and has the utmost confidence that the Netherlands will choose the story and actions of Dilan and the VVD.
Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius: “I consider it a great honor to once again lead the list of the VVD. A lot is coming our way in the world. More than ever, we must build a Netherlands that once again becomes the beacon of freedom, safety, and growth. We do this with a right-liberal agenda and the best people to implement it. With our wonderful group and the best ideas for the Netherlands, I will gladly take to the country to convince people of our plans.”
