On Tuesday, April 22, 14 arrests were made in investigations into terrorism. The suspects, some of whom are minors, were apprehended in various locations across the Netherlands. They are alleged to have attempted to incite others to commit terrorist offenses on TikTok.
Various police units are investigating the criminal offenses. The National Investigation and Interventions Unit (LO) made eight arrests. The Den Haag unit made three arrests, the Rotterdam unit two, and the Amsterdam unit one. Todays arrests were coordinated by the National Prosecutors Office.
The suspects are between 14 and 30 years old. Due to the minor status of some suspects and ongoing investigations, no further announcements are being made at this time.
