Man (32) arrested after collision with house in Heerhugowaard

A 32-year-old man from Heerhugowaard was arrested on Thursday, March 13, after he collided with a house on Van der Helstlaan in Heerhugowaard earlier that day. The man is suspected of attempted aggravated assault. He is still in custody and his involvement is under investigation.
Around 07:00 AM, the residents of a house on Van der Helstlaan in Heerhugowaard were startled when a car collided with their house. Several people were present in the house during the collision. One person in the house sustained injuries but did not require medical treatment at the hospital.
The 32-year-old driver was medically examined at the hospital and subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted assault. His involvement is under investigation.
