Information was received that the resident of a house on Hendrikstraat was in possession of a firearm. Such reports are of course taken seriously. Detectives also started an investigation and it was decided to raid two homes in the street.

Found

In one of the homes, the arrest team found the two residents. After searching the house, a firearm was indeed found. The two residents were then arrested. In the other house on that street, ammunition was found. There was no one home at that moment. The investigation into the origin of the weapon is ongoing.
