Suspect is family of victim Hellevoetsluis; police seek witnesses

The man who was arrested on Wednesday, April 16, for involvement in the death of a 63-year-old woman from Hellevoetsluis is related to the woman. The police investigation is still ongoing. To get a clear picture of what happened on Wednesday afternoon around 14:45 in and around Molenstraat in Hellevoetsluis, the police are looking for witnesses. Further neighborhood investigation is being conducted today.
The suspect, a 31-year-old man from Diemen, was arrested yesterday on the A4. His car was seized for investigation. He will be presented on Friday, April 18.
Much is still unclear about the circumstances. The investigation requires great care, also regarding what the police and the Public Prosecution Service can say about those circumstances and the conditions surrounding the womans death. For that reason, the police would like to get in touch with witnesses.
