Just before five oclock on Thursday afternoon, officers saw a group of three young people on Carmisselaan. Due to past reports of disturbances in that same street, the officers decided to approach and check the youths. They believed they saw a possible firearm under the jacket of one of the youths. When they confronted him, he began to run. After a foot chase, the suspect was arrested on Ebenhaezerstraat. Following tips from bystanders, a firearm was found on 2nd Carnissestraat.
