On Thursday evening, July 17, around half past ten, residents alerted the police about a possible violent incident in the home. Officers found the seriously injured woman and the man in the house. Medical assistance was immediately summoned for the woman. Multiple ambulances and a trauma helicopter arrived on the scene and provided help. The woman was urgently transported to a hospital, but it soon became clear that help was in vain. She died from her injuries.

The arrested suspect was taken to a police station and detained for further investigation. He is the victims boyfriend. A young child of the victim was present in the house and was taken in and housed elsewhere.
