Officers wanted to check the driver and the vehicle. The suspect got out, but before the officers could perform a check, the motorist jumped back into the car and accelerated. He ran over the foot of an officer who was also dragged along. Another officer managed to prevent worse by jumping into the suspects vehicle. The driver ended up in the ditch with the officers. He was arrested for attempted manslaughter. His drivers license was revoked and the car was seized. No one had to go to the hospital.
