Update: The man is now responsive, and his identity has been established. He has also indicated that he fell. Therefore, there is no indication of a crime. The questions the police had are now void. 

At around 5:00 PM, passersby found an unresponsive man in the bushes on Nieuwe Meerlaan. The man had visible injuries and was taken to the hospital. It is unclear how the injuries were sustained. The mans identity has not yet been confirmed. The police are investigating this and would like to get in touch with anyone who may have seen something on Nieuwe Meerlaan or knows who he is. A bag was found with the man in the photo. Someone may recognize him by that. The man also had coins from the Dekmantel festival, elsewhere in the Amsterdamse Bos. If visitors of this festival have information about this man based on the bag, the police would like to hear from them.
