Weather-Sensitive Work
Maintenance work is weather-sensitive. In bad weather, the work may not proceed and will be rescheduled.
Regular Maintenance
This maintenance work falls under the Maintenance Contract of Rijkswaterstaat in Southern Netherlands. It involves regular maintenance that the road network, viaducts, bridges, and tunnels periodically require, such as asphalting, replacing expansion joints, and maintaining guardrails. The goal is to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow for road users.
Work: Safety First
Rijkswaterstaat works daily for smooth and safe traffic. For this, road workers and our road inspectors work day and night. Safety is paramount. You as a road user can also contribute to the safety of road workers and yourself: follow the instructions and respect the speed limit.
